Job Details: Customer Success Representative

Coastal Business Supplies is one of the leading product decoration equipment and supplies distributors in North America. Founded here in St. Louis, MO in 1990, we started out with just a couple employees and quickly grew to the team of over 50 amazing individuals that work here today – many of whom have called Coastal their home for decades. We currently have offices in Maryland Heights, MO and a massive warehouse in St. Louis, MO and three satellite warehouses that send products to businesses all over the continent (and world)!

At Coastal, we are privileged to work in a very fun and creative industry, and we serve a diverse clientele of decorators, entrepreneurs, crafters, and small business owners who use our products to create and sell their own handmade goods. They might make custom mugs to sell on Etsy, or own a small custom T-shirt shop, or even operate a large, full-scale production facility. Regardless of our customers’ size and scale, our mission is to not only provide them with the highest quality products on the market but also the education and resources they need to grow their business.

If you are familiar with the product decoration industry, some of the products and decoration methods that Coastal supports include dye-sublimation, heat transfer vinyl (think Cricut and Silhouette Cameo), direct-to-garment, heat transfer paper, and more. And if that sounded like a foreign language to you, don’t worry! Most folks start at Coastal having little idea of what “sublimation” is or how to print a custom product, but you will learn fast!

Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming calls, emails, and chats from prospective and current customers
  • Providing customers with a solution that best suits their needs and goals
  • Establishing and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with our customers
  • Placing new product orders for customers
  • Providing client education with regard to new product offerings
  • Resolving customer issues and/or concerns
