Shipping & Handling Policy
Same Day Shipping Guarantee
All orders of in-stock items placed before 7 pm CST (8pm EST) will ship the same day (business days only). Orders that contain backordered items may be held until the order can ship complete if we fail to reach you by phone/email. Separate shipments may incur additional flat-rate shipping fees.
Flat Rate Shipping
Coastal Business Supplies offers $9.95 flat rate shipping on orders under the $149 free shipping threshold. The $9.95 flat rate shipping is via ground shipping with the carrier of our choice and is only valid for orders shipping within the contiguous United States. The Flat Rate Shipping is only good for items purchased at website pricing. Deliveries may take 1 to 9 business days to arrive and no guarantee is made on specific arrival time.
Effective 4/8/2016, Coastal Business will begin using the growing FedEx Smartpost service, which is a shipping service that cooperates with your local post office for delivery. This does not change our original estimated 1-9 business days arrival time for Flat-Rate Service, but may change the delivery dates for some customers.
FedEx Ground Shipping
Expedited shipping and standard FedEx ground shipping options are also available at an additional expense to guarantee arrival by a certain day or your shipping will be refunded. Please see our online checkout for shipping rates and options in your area.

Coastal Business Supplies offers free shipping on orders over $149 (contiguous U.S. only - excludes AK, HI & PR). Free shipping is shipped via FedEx Ground or a different shipping carrier of our choice. See the map below for estimated shipping times via FedEx Ground.
Some items, such as large heat presses, cutters and large quantities of mugs, cannot be shipped via regular methods due to weight and will need to be shipped through a truckline carrier. Coastal is happy to cover the shipping costs for these items if they are purchased at website pricing that qualify for free shipping (approximately $100-$200 in cost of shipping typically), including any additional fees such as residential fee, lift gate fee, and appointment fee. Please see the individual products for any applicable information on special shipping requirements.
In the unfortunate circumstance that a package is lost or delayed by FedEx, Coastal Business Supplies will work on the customer's behalf to locate the order. Please note that due to FedEx's follow-up policies, this may take up to 2 business days to complete. Packages may be delayed due to severe weather, and Express Delivery fees will not be eligible for refunds. Buyer is responsible for checking with FedEx for possible delays in their area, or potential delays due to severe weather.
Customer Pick Up Policies
Customers can pick up orders from our Hazelwood, MO location when their order is in-stock at our warehouse. Order pick up is available from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2p.m. to 5p.m. CST.
Coastal Business Supplies charges a $2.75 handling fee for Customer Pickup orders placed over the phone. All online orders are exempt from the handling charge.
Accuracy of shipping details is the buyer responsibility. Additional delivery charges due to customer error (i.e. wrong address or zip code entered in the online order) or change will be billed by FedEx directly to the customer.
Please provide a valid e-mail address when ordering. Once the order is placed, we will send out an email confirmation for your review and, after the order is shipped, we will use this email to send you a tracking number. The email will also assist us in contacting you should a problem arise with your order. We make every effort to contact you concerning issues with an order to ensure the speediest and most accurate shipping possible.
All orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and APO addresses are shipped by the method that gives YOU the best rate. ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS MAY BE ADJUSTED TO INSURE ACCURATE SHIPPING COSTS. We will confirm a new order total with you if the shipping total INCREASES. Order tracking is usually not available for APO and FPO addresses. You may call us to get the shipping date in those instances.
