Why we recommend using our ColorPrint™ Evolution Mask:
Most of the application tapes in the industry are manufactured to transfer sign vinyl which does not require any heat. When using these tapes to apply our products, you may be left with adhesive residue. In addition, it may be difficult to remove the application tape. These application tapes also must cool before removing which slows down the production process. A great deal of time was spent formulating the perfect transfer tape that works well with our Digital Print products. Our clear mask allows you to accurately place the image on the garment. Also, a very favorable release is achieved with our product. We strongly recommend that you use our ColorPrint™ Evolution Mask.

Masking Instructions:

Cut a piece of the mask slightly wider than the images to cover.

Remove the paper backing of the mask and set aside.

Grasp the application tape on either end with the adhesive side down.

Place the mask over the image letting the middle drop down centering it over the images to cover.

Use the flat end of a squeegee, with firm pressure press down on the mask starting from the center working your way outward toward the edges.

Repeat this process in several directions. This will remove any trapped air & create a bond between the mask & the images.

Trim away any excess mask.

Lift a corner of the mask, with a slow & steady motion remove the mask from the paper backing. Sometimes this works best at a 45-degree angle.

Place the mask back on the shiny side of the original masking paper.

Cut the images to the proper size for heat application.

** The ColorPrint Evolution™ material comes on a carrier with an adhesive, therefore, after masking the product; place the evolution material back on the shiny side of the mask paper.
