Manual feeding of transfer paper through the by-pass tray of laser color copier/printer is recommended.

Select Mirror Image feature.

Select heavy/thick paper mode.

FOR MAGNET, METAL AND LICENSE PLATES (an "A" pad is required)

1.) Set your flat heat press to 230 degrees F. and medium pressure. Be sure the heat press indicator light registers the set temperature prior to transferring.
2.) Enlarge or reduce image for product.
3.) If image is smaller than the product, utilize the Center Shift function on your copier or software so the image is centered on the transfer paper.
4.) Place the entire transfer sheet over the product. Place a piece of plain paper under the product to assist in picking it up while it is still hot and to protect the lower platen from overlapping toner.
5.) Place the product on lower heat press platen and toner side of transfer onto product. Place the "A" pad on top of the transfer and press for 180 seconds.
6.) Let cool and peel.

FOR MUGS: (Your mug press may require the use of an "A" pad. If the pad in the mug press has a cloth pattern, use an "A" pad over the pad with the pattern.)

1.) Set your press to 250 degrees F., 50 seconds and medium pressure.
2.) Enlarge or reduce image for product. Cut the image to a convenient size to secure it to the mug. Trimming around the edges of the image is not necessary since no "background" will be transferred.
3.) Secure transfer, toner side toward mug, using heat resistant tape. Place in mug press and press for 50 seconds.
4.) Cool in cold water and peel away transfer paper.
5.) The mug needs to be run through two cycles of the mug glazer.
