Printing & Application Instructions
How to print Iron Man Inkjet Transfer Paper in your regular inkjet printer.
1. Mirror your image in the printer function selection screen so that any text in your image will appear properly on your substrate.
2. Use the plain paper setting and feed the Jet-Trans Iron-Man T-shirt Transfer Paper according to the printer manufacturer's directions. The paper should be fed into your copier with the short dimension first (grain long).
3. Cut away any unprinted paper around your image that you do not want to transfer.
How to Transfer A Full Size Image Using A Hand Iron
The following instructions pertain to transferring an image to T-shirts, sweatshirts, puzzles and mousepads. Iron-Man Transfer Paper is intended for transfers to white and light colored substrates consisting of 100% cotton, cotton/poly blends, or 100% polyester (including most mousepads). Be sure to choose garments that have a tight weave. Best washability is achieved when using a tight weave 50/50 T-shirt. When using 100% cotton t-shirts best results are achieved when label reads "Pre-Shrunk."
1. Preheat the iron on the highest cotton setting for 3 minutes. DO NOT USE STEAM Place a pillorcase on a very smooth hard surface that is waist level or below and iron the pillowcase to remove any wrinkles. Place the garment on the center of the pillowcase and iron it to eliminate wrinkles.
2. Place the transfer image side down in the desired position on the garment or substrate and make one quick pass over the back of the transfer sheet to smooth it out and tack it into place. Using two (2) hands, firmly slide the iron up and down as shown in Diagram A. In 2 minutes, make enough passes to completely iron the shirt 2 times. The iron should be halfway off the edge when the edges are ironed.
3. Using two hands, firmly slide the iron side to side as shown in Diagram B. In 2 minutes, make enough passes to completely iron the shirt 2 times including all edges. The iron should be halfway off the edge when the edges are ironed.
4. Allow transfer to cool for approximately 2 minutes. Starting from any corner, use firm pressure to peel the transfer away. If the paper tears, start from another corner.
Important Note: Home irons and commercial heat presses vary in accuracy. Conduct your own tests to determine the best time and temperature to use with your own equiptment.
Storage & Handling
Store JET TRANS IronMan Transfer Paper in a cool, dry area and do not remove from packaging until you are ready to use.
Washing Instructions
1. Turn garment inside out. This will minimize the about of abrasion that the transfer will encounter with other garments in the wash.
2. Wash the garment in cold water using mild detergent on gentle setting.
3. DO NOT USE BLEACH
4. Remove the garment from the wash immediately and dry on low to medium setting.
5. If your garment needs to be ironed, do not iron directly on the transferred area.
Note: After washing, colors may fade slightly, particularly on 100% cotton.

However, it is impossible for us to duplicate all variables using all substrates and transfer equipment. Therefore, it is essential that you test the paper you plan to use before beginning production to determine the suitability of the paper when using with your equipment, methods, and substrate material.
