These new generation can koozies offer a great imprintable surface with a clean black border for a sharper and more valuable finished product. This new Beverage Insulator is a higher quality product at the same low price!!! This product works well with ALL transfer Papers for light colored fabric.
Sized to fit a 12 oz. can, 1/8” thick material, 4” x 7.5” image area.
For sublimation: Pressing time and temperatures are 30 seconds at 400 degress F with light to medium pressure.
For heat transfer: Pressing time and temperatures are 15 seconds at 350 degrees F with light to medium pressure.
Print your picture (make sure to flip it). Place your can cooler on the heat press , then center and lay your can cooler face up against the image and press. The heat platen on the press will be touching the back of the sublimation or heat transfer paper.
These work well using Epson printers with ArTanium sublimation inks and the TruePix or TexPrint papers.
After pressing remove paper to specifications of individual brand. Sublimation paper will be removed right away. If you are using heat transfer, check to see whether it is hot or cold peel transfer paper.
The way that sublimation works is the ink on the sublimation paper when heated to a high temperature turns into a gas. Then the pores on the product open up and allow that gas to enter. Then when the temperature is brought down, the pores close up and the ink is trapped inside. Thus, the image is actually a part of the surface. Meaning it can not be scratched, washed, or peeled off.
Sublimation remains one of the most durable forms of printing on hard surfaces, above transfers and laser methods.
