AIT 20"x44" Model 1112 Floating Head Clamshell Heat Press

The AIT 1112 is a semi-automatic Heat Press with an unique electromagnetically assisted closing and pressure system to help relieve operator fatigue. The operator pulls the handle to within about six inches of the bottom platen (shown above right) where the electromagnet engages the top platen and pulls it closed. Once the timer reaches 0.0, the electromagnet releases and the top platen automatically opens.

A heated platen size of 20x44 makes this an ideal machine for sublimation printing of small format flags and banners. Features include a floating head design for even contact between the heated platen and the substrate, and optional double heating is available. No compressed air is required, and the 1112 can be wired for single or three-phase connection.
