Included Software: Included with the Graphtec Machines is Graphtec's free easy to learn software called RoboMaster. RoboMaster is a very simple and basic program that allows common actions found in more advanced design programs such as creating text, shapes, drawing, and more. You can even design in color for a print and cut application, usually not found in competitor's free softwares. Have a design that is too complex to design in RoboMaster? You can use RoboMaster's insertion tool to import a .jpg image that was designed in another program. Simply insert, setup registration marks, apply a contour cut around your image, and cut! The Graphtec Machines automatically read the registrations marks so you don't have to. It is even compatible with Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw with the use of the included plug-in.
Additional Software: i-DesignR CE is Graphtec’s seperate exclusive Graphic Design software package for use their cutting plotters that is purchased seperately. With powerful vector editing, import filters, and automatic rhinestone pattern creation applied to your vector design — for the ultimate, custom apparel application. You can design using shape tools, clipart and single line fonts. Bring in photos or images to cut out, create your own designs or logos and apply them to stickers, labels and more! You can do most things with this program that you can with more popular brands of design systesm, but this program sells for nearly half the cost! What materials are used with these cutters?
Depending on what type of job you are doing, determines which type of material you use. If you would like to design t-shirts, caps, or other apparels, you would use heat transfer vinyl. If you will be making signs or vehicle markings, you will use sign making vinyl. For full graphic print and cut images, consider our heat transer papers...a large selection to choose from. Using a Graphtec Vinyl Cutter with one of our heat transfer papers will eliminate that polymer background so no more cutting out your images by hand! With the free software, Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw, you can create your layout and using a registration mark sensoring system the machine will detect teh marks printed and cut!
There is a large selection of Graphtec Cutters to choose from. Sizes range from 8.5" wide to 64" wide. Depending on how large your applications will be, determines the size of cutter you will need. More advanced cutters have more advanced features such as more downforce and cutting speed, a sheet cutter, and media basket. All of our Graphtec Cutters feature ARMS-Graphtec's Auto Registration Mark Sensor used for print and cut application making it great for t-shirt transfers! CE5000 Series
The Graphtec CE5000 Series Vinyl Cutters have most of the same abilities of the larger cutters but with a bit smaller acceptable media width, and less downforce/speed. They have an auto-tracing feature, 4-point dual-axis skew correction and ARMS-Graphtec's Auto Registration Mark Sensor. The CE5000 Series have a maximum cutting length of 164ft. , with a max cutting speed up to 24" per second, and a cutting force up to 300gf. The 24" and 48" Cutters even include a heavy duty stand...not found with other machines out there! With such a fast, accurate and versatile desktop cutting plotter, you can contour cut most any media pre-printed - from your choice of inkjet, solvent based and laser printer.

The Graphtec FC8000 Series Vinyl Cutters have the most power and versatility of all the cutters..great for large production jobs. They have an auto-tracing feature, 4-point dual-axis skew correction and ARMS-Graphtec's Auto Registration Mark Sensor. The CE5000 Series has a maximum cutting length of 164ft. and even has a sheet cutter with a max cutting speed up to 58.5" per second, and a cutting force up to 600gf. The FC8000 even come complete with stands and material catch baskets. With such a fast, accurate and versatile desktop cutting plotter, you can contour cut most any media pre-printed - from your choice of inkjet, solvent based and laser printer.
